1. Is the service confidential?
Yes, confidentiality is an essential value for Brio PAE. No information is passed on to a third party or to your employer without your written consent. You can speak freely, in complete safety.
2. Is it really free?
Yes, your employer, organization or association covers the full cost. You will not be charged for the use of the EAP or MAP.
Exception: Unless you wish to meet a professional outside our network. If this is not possible, you can provide us with your receipt and Brio will reimburse you a portion according to the agreement with your employer.
3. Who can use the service?
All persons covered by the agreement: employees, members of the organization and, in certain cases, their relatives (partner, children, etc.). To check your eligibility, contact us.
4. Can I choose my professional?
Yes, you can make a request to the EAP to consult a professional of your choice. We will contact him or her to verify the possibility of collaboration. If this is not possible, a partial reimbursement of expenses (up to $75/hour) may be considered.
5. How do I access the service?
We are available 24/7. Contact us by phone for immediate assistance or online for regular inquiries. A member of our team will guide you through the process.

The number of sessions varies according to your organization’s agreement. In general, a few free meetings are scheduled. Consult the “My EAP” section or contact us.
9. How is the professional assigned?
We take into account your needs, language, preferred genre and consultation format (online, in person, telephone). You can also request a change after the first meeting.
10. Do I have to be in crisis to seek help?
Not at all. EAP/MAP is also preventive. You can consult us to take stock, maintain your balance or prevent a deterioration in your well-being.
11. Is the service available in several languages?
Yes, services available in English, French and Spanish. Other languages available upon request, subject to availability.
12. Can I continue working with the professional once my hours are up?
Yes, you’ll need to discuss terms and fees directly with him or her. Most issue receipts that are accepted by group insurance companies.

2. How is compensation managed?
Your fees are paid directly by BRIO PAE as agreed. You enter your hours in the digital platform and receive your payments at the end of each following month, according to a predictable schedule. In the event of late cancellation (less than 24 hours’ notice) or no-show, you will be paid 100% of your fee.
3. What are the requirements for working with BRIO PAE?
Admission requirements include:
- Be a member of a professional order or association recognized by the EAP (RITMA or CITRAC only).
- Have completed a university degree (BAC) in a field of intervention and have 1 year of experience in helping people.
- OR have completed a college diploma (DEC technique) in a field of intervention and have 3 years’ experience in helping people.
- Offer face-to-face availability.
- Knowledge of certain approaches: cognitive-behavioral, solution-focused, systemic and psychosocial.
4. How do I submit my application?
You can submit your application by filling in the form on Indeed with your name, title and CV.
5. How to submit my hours in PROVIDERfiles
- Go to files/cases
- Open the customer file by clicking on “Edit”.
- Go to the “session” section
- Click on “edit” on the session you want to enter.
- Enter date, time and duration of meeting.
- Register
6. How to submit the secondary pattern in PROVIDERfiles
Here are the steps:
- Go to files/cases
- Open the customer file by clicking on “Edit”.
- Go to the “details” section
- Scroll down until you see “Secondary motif presented”.
- Enter the reason for the first session with the customer
If no session has been performed and you need to close the file, please enter the same reason as the main one
