During this conference, we will explore the different principles behind the right to manage and how this can be used to ensure a better, safer, environment at work, mainly using the concept of benevolence.

Topics Covered:

  • Summary of what is the right to manage;
  • The main enemies of benevolence at work: lack of respect, bullying, harassment;
  • What is a benevolent leader exactly? Different definitions and examples of models to better understand what a benevolent leader means;
  • How can we apply all this in the day-to-day at work? Different examples and ideas to help you juggle with solutions in your own workplace.

Speaker

François Déry, Social Worker, Ph,D

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Social Work in 2010 and obtained a Ph.D. in Social Work in 2018. Since then, he has worked in various settings and with different clienteles, notably as an expert for the Superior Court in the area of parental capacity assessments for child custody cases. In recent years, he has also served as a guest professor, lecturer, and trainer in psychological health. He is passionate about bridging theory with clinical practice, making this a central element in his teaching approach. His experience in both academia and the field as a social worker makes him a highly qualified expert trainer.
